Errata:// Suigintou received a true Roza Mystica in the Oberture OVA from Rozen, who had appeared to grant Suigintou a Roza Mystica. Suigintou had existed without one prior to that point solely because of her incredible willpower.

It’s somewhat vainglorious for me to respond to my own post, but I also wanted to give a big ol’ shout out to ALI Project and the voice actresses on Rozen Maiden, whose work helped make the show uniquely charming and appealing. Desu.
It’s also not surprising that Japan’s foreign minister, Taro Aso, would find the themes of Rozen Maiden (filial piety, chivalry, noble obligesse, deference to superiors) very appealing.
That might be a topic for a future research paper of mine…
